Recipes from Members
The main reason that people join a food buying club is because of the convenient access to quality healthy foods at affordable prices. What value would all these fantastic food ingredients have if there wasn't a way to put them all together for some fantastic dishes! When club members get together for pot-lucks, they get to taste the cooking of their fellow club members and exchange recipes.
This section provides a venue for members of the Adventist Food Buying Club to share their recipes. While this web site is very new, members have already begun contributing some of their favorite healthy recipes, not only to share with other club members, but for the benefit all interested parties. Club members, keep your recipes coming, and we'll post them here in this section. Email your favorite healthy recipes here. Bookmark this page and check back frequently, as new recipes will be added in the future.
Ten categories for this special recipe section have been included: Soups, Salads, Breads, Whole Grains and Pasta, Beans and Soyfoods (which include tofu), Main Dishes, Vegetable Dishes, Sauces and Dips, Beverages, and Desserts. A special menu bar has been set-up for this section (at left). Enjoy!
Recipes are noted if they are vegetarian or vegan. The following criteria for these categories is being used:
Vegetarian = no meat, but may include dairy and/or eggs
Vegan = no meat, dairy or eggs -basically only plant based ingredients
